Maersk is looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy robust enterprise AI solutions using Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning. You will collaborate with business, platform, and technology stakeholders to understand project scope and drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with business, platform, and technology stakeholders to understand the scope of projects.
Perform comprehensive exploratory data analysis at various levels of granularity to derive inferences for further solutioning.
Design, develop, and deploy robust enterprise AI solutions using Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning.
Continuously focus on providing business value while ensuring technical sustainability.
Promote and drive adoption of modern data science and AI practices within the team.
Continuously stay up to date on relevant technologies and use this knowledge to push the team forward.

What We're Looking For

4-7 years of experience in the field of data science and AI.
Proficiency with programming and querying languages like Python, SQL, and pyspark.
Proficiency with Azure cloud platform tools like databricks, ADF, synapse, and web app.
Strong work experience in areas of text analytics, NLP, and Generative AI.
Scientific and analytical thinking mindset comfortable with brainstorming and ideation.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
Strong business acumen and desire to collaborate with business teams to solve business problems.

Nice to Have

Prior understanding in the business domain of shipping and logistics is an advantage.
