Amgen Inc. is hiring an Associate Data Analytics professional for the Financial Insights & Technology (FIT) Data Analytics & Processes team within Corporate Finance. This role, based in Hyderabad, India, plays a meaningful part in Financial Data Integrations and Analysis for the global organization.

What You'll Do

• Develop a strong understanding of Amgen’s financial data and systems to support reporting, integration, and data requests.
• Partner with client-facing members of the FIT Reporting & Analytics team to design, develop, and augment financial datasets.
• Own and manage daily operational data processes in Databricks, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain data pipelines in Databricks & Prophecy and build Tableau/Power BI dashboards for enterprise reporting.
• Write SQL queries and create ad-hoc reports based on end-user or team requests.
• Participate in project work to support financial dataset requests for other functions within Amgen.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance data pipeline performance.
• Validate datasets through Databricks and Tableau dashboards.
• Maintain FITDAP documentation and code base.
• Participate in the Financial Data Product Team and support other initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s degree
• Or Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Finance or Information Systems experience
• Or Associate degree and 6 years of Finance or Information Systems experience
• Or High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Finance or Information Systems experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial statements and Amgen Finance experience.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization solutions such as Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Prophecy, and Alteryx Designer.
• Basic understanding of building ETL pipelines using data integration tools like Prophecy, Alteryx, Databricks or similar.
• Familiarity with Hyperion Planning, SAP, and scripting languages like SQL or Python.
• Well-versed in MS Suite, especially MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under minimum supervision while being diligent with remote work and remote collaboration.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work in matrixed teams, across geographic and functional reporting lines.
