Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential features by cleaning and structuring raw data to build reliable inputs for analysis.
- Partner with stakeholders to use data insights for validating assumptions, assessing risks, and guiding decisions on models and transformations.
- Use innovative methods and tools to quickly build prototypes that reflect product success metrics, refining them through stakeholder feedback.
- Conduct exploratory analysis, select relevant features, choose appropriate models, tune parameters, and validate and monitor model performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and adopt best practices, tools, and workflows that enhance the quality and speed of data science work.
- Encourage open exploration by asking probing questions, identifying early risks, and leading discussions on trade-offs and priorities.
- Explain technical data science concepts and project value clearly to non-technical audiences, delivering demos, reports, and recommendations to leadership.
- Document and share proven modeling techniques, pipelines, and infrastructure improvements grounded in statistical and machine learning principles.
