RACV is hiring an AI Business Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle planning and execution processes while ensuring desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Improve team effectiveness through structured communication, coordination, and collaborative practices.
  • Design and lead tailored planning and delivery frameworks, such as quarterly roadmaps and sprint cycles.
  • Assist the AI leadership and product owners in advancing high-priority AI initiatives.
  • Encourage practices that ensure quality, ongoing enhancement, and consistent delivery of business value.
  • Cultivate an environment rooted in accountability, innovation, and strong performance.
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships that strengthen project execution and AI outcome success.
  • Collaborate with the AI Value Creation Lead to maintain project transparency, share progress updates, and uphold governance standards.
  • Assist teams in managing multiple demands and reducing unplanned work intake.
  • Evaluate potential AI application opportunities alongside business and technical stakeholders.
  • Collect requirements, assess change impacts, and align timing, training, and support logistics.
  • Conduct financial and risk assessments for proposed operational improvements.
  • Support the creation of business justifications and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Proven track record in managing projects successfully.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and professional networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions, influence outcomes, and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent written communication and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Skilled in managing time and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Completed tertiary education in commerce, business, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a business analyst or comparable analytical position.
  • At least two years of experience delivering projects involving varied stakeholder groups.
