Monarch Money is hiring an Agentic Ops Lead to join our Product Ops team. This new role is a strategic investment to achieve AI-first, human-in-the-loop workflows across every function by the end of H1 2026. You will operate as an internal consultant, embedding directly with teams in 1-2 week rotations to audit workflows, build automations and agents, and train people on effective AI-assisted work.

What You'll Do

• Own and evangelize the company-wide 'AI enablement map'.
• Embed with teams to find and fix inefficiency: Rotate through functions like Product, Design, Marketing, and Support in 1-2 week engagements. Audit workflows, identify automation opportunities, build solutions, train the team, and document results.
• Build agents and automations: Develop task-specific AI agents and workflows using whatever ships fastest, such as n8n, Claude, MCP integrations, Notion automations, or custom tooling. Examples include copywriting agents in Linear, research synthesis tools, or monitoring bots.
• Create reusable enablement materials: Build prompts, recipes, and templates for teams to self-serve after your engagement.
• Evaluate and govern AI tools: Support AI tool proofs-of-concept (like Cursor, Replit, V0), maintain documentation on approved tools and best practices, and feed learnings into company-wide AI fluency programs.
• Measure and communicate impact: Track results, quantify time and effort saved, and present findings to leadership to prioritize future engagements.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building workflow automations, AI-powered agents, or business process tooling in a professional setting.
• Hands-on proficiency with at least two of: n8n / Make / Zapier, LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), or low-code/no-code agent frameworks.
• Strong business process instinct: you can look at a complex manual workflow and immediately identify which steps can be automated.
• Ability to embed with non-technical teams, earn trust quickly, and translate their pain points into working solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for training, documentation, and presenting to leadership.
• Bias toward shipping: you build the v1 in days, not weeks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MCP integrations.
• Familiarity with product and design workflows and tools like Linear, Figma, Notion.
• Background in consulting, operations, or change management.
• Experience building in n8n specifically (our current automation platform).
• Understanding of prompt engineering and agent architecture patterns.
