Salesforce, Inc. is hiring an Agentic Integration Specialist at multiple levels. You will serve as the crucial link between advanced AI agents and the wider enterprise technology landscape, designing, building, and managing integrations that enable AI agents to take meaningful, autonomous actions.

What You'll Do

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure integration patterns connecting AI agents to enterprise applications and enabling communication between different AI agents.
Design and manage a Model Context Protocol (MCP) to orchestrate, monitor, and govern a fleet of specialized AI agents.
Develop and implement protocols and standards for inter-agent communication (A2A) to enable collaboration, information sharing, and task handoffs.
Develop, deploy, and maintain custom APIs (REST, SOAP) to facilitate seamless data exchange and action execution between AI agents and other systems.
Collaborate with business analysts and AI specialists to translate complex business processes into automated, agent-driven workflows.
Implement and manage secure authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML) to ensure all agent actions are secure and compliant.
Manage the real-time flow of data to and from the AI agent, implementing necessary data transformations for compatibility.
Monitor the health and performance of integrations, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and continuously optimizing workflows.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical integration role, such as an Integration Developer or API Specialist.
Expertise in API design and development (REST, SOAP, webhooks).
Proficiency with one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Hands-on experience with an enterprise integration platform (iPaaS) such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.
Strong understanding of authentication/authorization standards like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
Experience with data formats like JSON and XML and data transformation techniques.
Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems concepts.
A solid understanding of how AI agents operate, with a conceptual grasp of multi-agent systems.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues spanning multiple systems.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to building and maintaining systems.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Experience integrating with the Salesforce platform, particularly using Salesforce APIs and Apex.
Any MuleSoft Developer or Architect certification is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the integration services offered by major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience in an Agile development environment.
Direct experience working on AI or automation projects is a significant plus.

Compensation varies by location: For New York: $172,000 to $334,600. For Washington: $157,600 to $306,600. For Maryland: $157,600 to $306,600. For California: $157,600 to $334,600. For Illinois: $157,600 to $306,600. For Massachusetts: $157,600 to $306,600.
