About the Role

Manulife Financial Corporation / John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) is hiring an Agent of Record Specialist to support the Small Business Delivery team. Your focus will be on advisor onboarding, contracting, commissions changes, and systems management to ensure smooth business operations.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain positive advisor relationships and manage the full onboarding process.
  • Process National Agent of Records & Letter of Authorization changes, contracting requests, and commissions changes.
  • Oversee the transfer of business and manage advisor block changes.
  • Maintain and update advisor and client information on GroupLinks.
  • Manage MGA alignment and related project management tasks.
  • Handle National Advisor Portal access registration and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Approve Group Benefits Advisor site access and manage internal and external applications.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement, investigating inquiries and collaborating with internal departments.
  • Ensure privacy and confidentiality requirements are met when sharing data externally.

What We're Looking For

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A general understanding of the Group Benefits industry in Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Previous administrative support or group benefits experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to document processes clearly.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work, conflicting priorities, and determine business priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. Proficiency in both languages is required if the candidate is based in Québec.
