Acceleration Partners is looking for an Affiliate Partner Growth Manager fluent in Mandarin to manage strategic partnerships and drive growth for enterprise clients in the APAC region, with a focus on the Chinese market. This individual will join a remote-first company dedicated to changing the work/life paradigm.
What You'll Do
- Actively contribute to quarterly planning and execution to meet client strategic goals and growth targets.
- Create and own recruitment and partner growth strategies, including negotiation, campaign set-up, and communication.
- Adapt strategies and set new expectations when goals are not achievable.
- Contribute to revenue goals by creating high-potential relationships and optimizing publishers.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the APAC market and client verticals, leading expert conversations.
- Proactively research and identify new, high-quality partnership opportunities based on client needs.
- Successfully recruit high-potential partners and negotiate paid placement terms.
- Foster best-in-class relationships with top-performing publishers.
- Manage clear, informative communication via cold emailing and day-to-day publisher interactions.
- Proactively identify and execute on opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Pitch and gain approval on new, innovative opportunities, showcasing the 'why' with data.
- Address client questions and speak to opportunities with a deep understanding of the client and competitors.
- Overcome objections and provide alternatives when facing rejections.
- Share campaign projections and results with clients, managing difficult conversations.
- Share new ideas and best practices with the Partnerships Team and Client Services.
- Know when to escalate issues and provide recommendations for next steps.
- Proactively share ideas and feedback across the Partnerships organization.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of digital Chinese market and Mandarin fluency required.
- 4+ years of partnerships or relevant work experience (business development, account management, contract negotiations, marketing).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field, or relevant work experience.
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing.
- Knowledge of self-serve platforms, auction, and biddable digital advertising buying.
- Experience working in a sales or account management role with small businesses.
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with ability to push back without damaging relationships.
- Detail-oriented and persuasive.
- Proven record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable leading client-facing presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a natural communicator and influencer.
- Self-motivated and self-directed creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
Nice to Have
- Affiliate marketing experience.
- B2B Knowledge and ability to recruit agencies or out of network publishers.
- Experience in Performance Marketing (particularly Affiliate Marketing) industry.
