ALDO Group seeks an Aerial Design Technician II to design and manage outside plant work orders and drawings under general supervision. In this role, you will coordinate with drafting and GIS teams and plan and permit new cable routes.
What You'll Do
- Design and prepare outside plant work orders and associated drawings, including documentation and accurate record updates.
- Provide estimates for work order expenditures and prepare placement, as well as joint use memos.
- Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel in remote offices to produce construction drawings for the network.
- Plan, design, and obtain permits for new cable routes.
- Design aerial and underground telecommunications plant routes.
What We're Looking For
- 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- At least two years of Telecom Outside Plant Engineering experience.
- Proficient with Excel and Word.
