The Administrator for the General Secretariat will support the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) by coordinating event and administrative systems, managing IT infrastructure, human resources, and building operations. This role reports directly to the General Secretary and works closely with a multinational team based in Hannover, Germany, starting from 1st April 2026 or as soon as possible.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate event management and administrative systems within the organization
- Support the office of the General Secretariat
- Implement and optimize office management tools
- Develop and coordinate IT systems and support, including project, database, financial, and document management
- Manage human resources activities
- Handle building management responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- Degree (FH-Diplom or Bachelor) in administration, business administration, economics, or qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service, or a comparable recognized education (including foreign qualifications)
- Three years of professional experience with experience and knowledge in administration
- Advanced user skills in project and event management and other IT-based systems
- Willingness to travel occasionally for a full day or several days
- Talent to work independently and systematically
- Strong organizational skills
- Enjoyment in working in an international team
- Openness to constructive feedback in an open and friendly manner
- Empathy with Christian values based on the Protestant church
- Commitment to the goals of the WCRC
- German and English language skills (at least level B2)
