This position blends administrative precision with hands-on patient care in a clinical environment serving individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. You'll manage essential documentation tasks including treatment logs, patient charts, change requisitions, invoices, and purchase orders, ensuring all records are completed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant patient records with attention to detail and timing
- Coordinate transportation logistics for patients to ensure timely access to care
- Support scheduling and follow-up for physician appointments
- Perform duties as a certified Patient Care Technician when needed, providing direct support to patients
- Fulfill administrative tasks using Microsoft Office with efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a current CHT/BONENT certification and a CMS-approved PCT credential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, typing speed of at least 60 words per minute, and a high school diploma or GED are required. Reliable transportation is necessary due to regional floating across Greater Chicago and surrounding areas. Full vaccination against COVID-19, including boosters when eligible, may be mandated by host hospitals.
