About the Role

Join Canada Life as an Administrative Assistant within our Disability Management Services Office (DMSO) in Montreal. You will provide essential administrative support for the team, handling day-to-day functions related to disability claimants. As part of a leading company, your work will contribute directly to improving the well-being of Canadians.

What You'll Do

  • Process emails and perform data entry
  • Identify and index documents related to claims
  • Update databases of claimants, providers, and suppliers
  • Handle routine telephone inquiries
  • Process claims for the reimbursement of medical expenses
  • Process, scan, and distribute mail and prints
  • Communicate with claimants or external providers by phone or in writing

What We're Looking For

  • Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) is required to serve clients in both languages
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient user of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Teamwork oriented
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to obtain a Reliability Status Security Clearance as a condition of employment
