About the Role
Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff in the emerging companies, venture capital, and intellectual property practice group.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings for attorneys and staff.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys and staff.
- Prepare and edit documents, including correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain and organize files, both physical and electronic.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate party.
- Assist in the preparation of client invoices and expense reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the practice group.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Support the practice group's pro bono and community service initiatives.
- Assist with the onboarding of new attorneys and staff.
- Coordinate the preparation of materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Maintain the practice group's library of legal resources.
- Assist with the preparation of marketing materials and event planning.
- Provide administrative support for practice group events and conferences.
- Coordinate with the IT department to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Maintain the practice group's budget and expense tracking.
- Assist with the preparation of practice group reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with the human resources department for recruitment and onboarding.
- Maintain the practice group's database of clients and contacts.
- Assist with the preparation of practice group proposals and pitches.
