Responsibilities
- Deliver course content using technology and web-based teaching methods.
- Hold regular office hours—minimum of one additional hour per week per course—to support student academic progress.
- Attend two administrative meetings each semester for course coordination and program evaluation.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Sociology or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate-level credits in Sociology. Preference will be given to those who have earned a PhD in Sociology and have prior teaching experience at the university level.
Additional qualifications that strengthen an application include 2–3 years of teaching or professional experience in the discipline, as well as experience advising students and instructing pre-service educators in higher education settings.
