Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial risks related to medical liability claims
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for loss reserving
- Support the creation of pricing frameworks for insurance products
- Analyze historical claims data to project future liabilities
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to inform risk decisions
- Prepare data inputs for regulatory and internal reporting
- Refine assumptions used in actuarial projections
- Assist in the documentation of actuarial methods and processes
- Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reserve analyses
- Monitor emerging trends in healthcare and malpractice claims
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in audits and regulatory examinations
- Enhance data quality and modeling accuracy
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives
- Work with external actuaries and auditors as needed
