Independence American Insurance Company (IAIC) is hiring a Senior Actuarial Analyst. In this role, you will apply mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to evaluate future events and manage financial risks, supporting our mission to provide stability and security for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Complete and interpret actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling.
- Assist with the completion of rate filing documents for all states.
- Research rate filings as needed.
- Maintain and update existing models, tools, and other files used for analysis.
- May prepare reserving, forecasting, rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review.
- Complete ad hoc reporting and appropriate database work as necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, another quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years’ relevant professional experience.
- Must have passed four or more actuarial exams.
