Anico is hiring an entry-level Actuarial Analyst in League City, TX. This position is part of our exam and rotational programs, where you will learn to perform and communicate complex actuarial analyses, including modeling and data valuation, while progressing toward your professional credentials.
What You'll Do
- Learn fundamental actuarial principles and apply them in analyzing company and industry data.
- Prepare summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to management, other departments, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators.
- Learn processes and begin to perform and document actuarial analyses promptly and accurately.
- Learn and begin to use spreadsheets, databases, and sources of data used in actuarial analyses.
- Perform actuarial valuation by updating valuation models, reflecting new assumptions and data.
- Prepare for and progress in the SOA examinations through on-the-job and home study.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
- 2 or more actuarial exams to include Exam FM and P.
