Cox Automotive is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to manage the full cycle of accounts receivable for key commercial clients. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and resolving client disputes, directly supporting our mission to transform the automotive industry.
What You'll Do
- Transmit invoices to clients based on designated interval, format, and method.
- Prepare weekly billing reconciliation for each assigned Commercial Client.
- Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices that are deemed aged and fall outside of standard payment terms.
- Participate in weekly collection meetings via Microsoft Teams.
- Partner with auction locations to collect required backup documentation needed for any disputed invoices.
- Complete audits of invoices for assigned Commercial Clients based on contracted fee schedules.
- Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor on special assignments and projects as required.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
- OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.
- OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- Experience working with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in PC Skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suites and Oracle 11 or 12.
Nice to Have
- Internal or Contractor experience with Manheim and/or Cox Finance is strongly preferred.
- Oracle Accounts Receivable experience strongly preferred.

This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. You'll join a people-centered team committed to creating stellar experiences.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour.
- Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
