About the Role
This role supports the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting clinical teams with daily operations, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining efficient workflows within medical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently
- Assist care teams with preparation for patient visits and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations
- Respond promptly to patient requests and communicate needs to clinical staff
- Support infection control practices through proper sanitation and protocols
- Ensure medical equipment and rooms are prepared and stocked appropriately
- Provide clear instructions to patients and families regarding care processes
- Monitor patient status and report changes to licensed personnel
- Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and support departments
- Follow safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff
- Assist with mobility and transport of patients as needed
- Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality standards at all times
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the unit
- Adhere to established policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Compensation
