Procurify is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who is outgoing, detail-oriented, and initiative-taking to join our team. You will be passionate about the end-to-end customer experience, owning customer records and driving collections in our fast-paced, growing environment. What You'll Do
- Own and maintain accurate, up-to-date customer account records across systems, ensuring timely and correct invoicing.
- Review customer contracts and special billing terms to ensure precise and compliant invoice generation.
- Drive proactive collection efforts, including professional follow-ups on overdue accounts to optimize cash flow.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering timely and clear support on billing and account questions.
- Prepare and analyze regular AR reports, providing insights to Finance and Leadership teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to resolve outstanding issues and improve the end-to-end receivables process.
- Play an essential role in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and support related responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in managing recurring billing schedules, account adjustments, and complex reconciliations with precision and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to balance timely collections with professionalism, while consistently completing all AR responsibilities to a high standard.
- Strong time management skills—able to prioritize effectively, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks without letting details slip.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace, with hands-on experience using accounting platforms such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar systems and CRM platforms (such as Salesforce).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying process improvements and collaborating across teams.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day AR tasks; proactive in exploring new AI-driven solutions to optimize workflows and reporting.
Nice to Have
- Background in the software or technology industry is a strong asset, particularly with subscription or SaaS-based revenue models.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
