About the Role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an organized and proactive Accounts Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full cycle of sales ledger, billing, and credit control activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in our financial processes.

What You'll Do

  • Process, post, and submit daily invoices, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Manage client billing portals and country-specific e‑invoicing requirements.
  • Perform billing compliance checks and manage dedicated billing mailboxes.
  • Handle intercompany settlements, ledger reconciliations, and support month‑end closing activities.
  • Reconcile Dynamics 365 with e‑invoicing portals and maintain precise financial records.
  • Utilize automation tools for efficient invoicing and reporting.
  • Drive timely collection of outstanding debts to achieve cash and DSO targets.
  • Chase overdue invoices via phone and email, maintaining clear follow‑up logs.
  • Resolve billing disputes and support negotiations to secure timely client payments.
  • Analyze client billing and payment cycles to remove barriers to collection.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support cash posting activities.
  • Manage credit notes and ensure compliance with client contract terms.
  • Provide ad‑hoc reporting and respond promptly to internal and external queries.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a professional, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
  • A consistent track record of delivering high-quality, accurate outputs.
  • Solid understanding of credit control policies, sales ledger management, and credit management procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with credit control management systems.
  • Strong competence in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience interacting with clients at all levels and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize an extensive, varied caseload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High standard of numeracy with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A team-oriented, flexible approach and a willingness to learn.
  • An outgoing, confident personality capable of building strong relationships across the business.
  • A proactive self-starter who can set and achieve personal and team goals.
  • A good standard of education.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify and escalate potential risks appropriately.
