Hydro | Global is hiring an Accounting/Tax Specialist to join our global team in aluminum and renewable energy. In this role, you will ensure tax compliance with a primary focus on direct taxes (IRPJ/CSLL), provide strategic support to management, and drive process improvements and risk mitigation.
What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance of the company's tax calculations, focusing on direct taxes (IRPJ/CSLL), with correct interpretation and application of current legislation.
- Maintain integrity of reported tax information and adherence to internal policies and legal requirements.
- Act strategically in support of management, promoting process improvements and mitigating risks.
- Ensure high standards of compliance across all tax-related activities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or a related field.
- Solid experience in calculating IRPJ and CSLL under the Real Profit regime.
- Knowledge of accounting for current and deferred taxes (CPC 32 / IAS 12).
- Hands-on experience with ECF (Fiscal Accounting Bookkeeping).
- Proficiency with SAP and tax calculation tools.
- Analytical profile, critical thinking, organization, and clear, assertive communication.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to influence.
- Ability to work autonomously with a risk-oriented vision and results-driven focus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Exploration Profit.
- Experience working in multinational companies or a Big Four firm.
