About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, executing financial transactions, and supporting audits and reporting requirements. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform regular reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
- Assist in internal and external audit processes
- Monitor and report on key accounting metrics
- Collaborate with tax teams to ensure proper financial reporting
- Track and manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Handle intercompany accounting entries and reconciliations
- Review and validate expense reports for accuracy and policy adherence
- Implement and improve accounting controls and procedures
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives with financial data
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports to stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for accounting processes
- Work closely with regional teams to align financial practices
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards
- Assist in system upgrades and integrations affecting financial data
- Provide financial insights to support operational decisions
