About the Role
This role involves overseeing accounting functions, ensuring financial records are maintained properly, and supporting compliance and reporting needs for U.S. clients. The candidate will work independently as a full-time contractor.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Support audit and tax preparation activities
- Maintain general ledger integrity
- Track and report on key financial metrics
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Implement and follow accounting policies and procedures
- Coordinate with external partners on financial reviews
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards
- Handle intercompany accounting tasks
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with reporting requirements
- Respond to accounting inquiries from stakeholders
