HireHawk is looking for an Accounting Manager to provide dedicated financial leadership for founder-led consumer product brands operating in e-commerce, retail, and CPG. This role combines hands-on ownership of the full accounting cycle with direct client relationship management, making it ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced, high-growth, service-based settings.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute the month-end close process and all related financial reporting.
- Manage inventory accounting, including subledger-to-GL reconciliation, write-offs, and accuracy checks.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, bill payments, and payroll entries.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial packages, including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and trend analysis.
- Provide strategic financial insights and actionable recommendations to clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing calls, presentations, and ongoing communication.
- Manage and mentor 1–2 bookkeepers.
- Handle a portfolio of 5–6 clients per pod.
What We're Looking For
- Substantial experience managing the full accounting cycle in a service or client-facing environment.
- Proven expertise in inventory accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior accounting staff.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
Team & Environment
You will be responsible for managing 1–2 bookkeepers while working within a collaborative pod structure.
Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly compensation: $1,700 - $2,200.
