HireHawk is looking for an Accounting Data Entry Specialist to join a dynamic law firm. In this role, you will support the Accounting Manager in critical financial data management, focusing on maintaining accurate accounting records, managing complex spreadsheets, and generating essential reports.
What You'll Do
- Enter and maintain accurate accounting and billing-related data across multiple systems.
- Update and manage complex spreadsheets in Excel and Google Sheets to support financial operations.
- Cross-check data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Generate and maintain recurring accounting support reports for management review.
- Organize financial data and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including strong data manipulation skills.
- Verifiable experience performing high-volume data entry with a documented accuracy rate of 98% or higher.
- Ability to reconcile financial data across multiple source documents and digital platforms with precision.
- Proven capability to generate detailed financial reports and summaries using spreadsheet software.
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage complex financial datasets efficiently.
- Experience processing invoices, payments, expenses, and vendor records with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies through structured validation and review processes.
- Intermediate computational and analytical skills appropriate for accounting and financial data management.
- Strong organizational skills and English fluency.

- Some college coursework preferred, ideally in business, accounting, or finance.
