Allina Health is hiring an Accounting Coordinator Senior

Allina Health System is seeking an Accounting Coordinator Senior to provide cash application and non-patient miscellaneous revenue processing for the system. You'll be part of a team dedicated to our mission of providing exceptional care, preventing illness, restoring health, and providing comfort.

What You'll Do

• Download bank files and import/apply payments.
• Create and mail non-patient invoices for various departments using an identified billing module.
• Participate in collection efforts related to past due customers.
• Answer customer questions by email or phone.
• Partner with department managers, revenue cycle management, and site finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payment application and billing.
• Partner with site finance teams to ensure contracts are kept up to date.
• Prepare manual journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
• Escalate issues and risks to manager.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 5-7 years of related experience with education/experience to meet required functional competencies.
• OR Vocational/Technical Training with 3-4 years of related experience.
• OR Associate's or Vocational degree with 0-2 years of related experience.

Nice to Have

• High school diploma or GED with 5-7 years of related experience.
