About the Role

Solenis is hiring a Technical Account Manager to manage key customer accounts in the Processed Food sector. You will be field-based, delivering technical service and optimizing performance to meet revenue and profit targets, while upholding our commitment to innovative, sustainable solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage assigned accounts, ensuring service delivery, revenue retention, and profitability.
  • Provide hands-on technical support, including training customer staff on safe chemical handling, supporting hygiene schedule development, and optimizing chemical application systems.
  • Design, negotiate, and manage commercial offers and contracts.
  • Apply a value-based selling approach to build and retain long-term customer relationships.
  • Use CRM tools to maintain territory plans and customer reporting.
  • Support growth through gap analysis, cross-selling, and service optimization.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with objectives.
  • Participate in SMART goal setting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar technical or commercial role within the Processed Food sector.
  • At least 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing.
  • Technical knowledge of OPC, CIP systems, chemical applications, and hygiene practices.
  • Strong understanding of value selling and operational optimization.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Internal Auditor qualification (BRC or equivalent).
