FSSI is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our team. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices and other accounts receivable transactions while providing overall support to the accounting department.
What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate and timely customer invoices
- Review price sheets
- Mail and email customer invoices
- Prepare deposits using remote deposit and scan incoming checks
- Reconcile FedEx charges and prepare for billing
- Retrieve, stamp, and disseminate mail to Accounting, HR, and payroll teams
- Assist other accounting team members as needed
- Support the reception desk as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Effectively communicate, both written and verbally, to all levels of management and coworkers
- PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and able to effectively prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player with the ability to coordinate and work with other departments
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Accounts Payable experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Accounting Software such as NetSuite is a plus
