Responsibilities
- Lead and manage accounting and financial reporting for client organizations and internal departments, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and trustworthiness.
- Design, deploy, and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systems in alignment with industry best practices and organizational benchmarks.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal audits and financial assessments across various client projects and geographic locations.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, legal regulations, tax obligations, and internal governance policies.
- Assess financial workflows, accounting technologies, and control frameworks, proposing actionable recommendations to improve governance and efficiency.
- Offer expert guidance in accounting, finance, and auditing to assist clients in establishing and refining their financial management and reporting systems.
- Produce clear financial analyses, performance reports, and executive-level summaries to aid leadership decision-making.
- Support financial planning initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and fiscal monitoring for internal and client entities.
- Work closely with clients and project teams to understand operational needs, align expectations, and implement financial solutions effectively.
- Supervise, coach, and grow audit and accounting staff while delivering training and knowledge transfer to client finance personnel as needed.
- Support the creation and harmonization of standardized financial, audit, and consulting approaches across projects and regions.
Other
- Frequent travel required within Lebanon and various countries in Africa.
- Proficiency in both English and French is required.
