Saint Luke's, a faith-based, nonprofit, locally owned health system in Kansas City, is hiring an Accountant II. In this role, you will perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements. You will provide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget, and will be responsible for higher-risk, judgmental, and complex areas within the department.
What You'll Do
- Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Prepare, record, analyze and report capital expenditure schedules to ensure the integrity of accounting records.
- Provide financial support including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.
- Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects.
- Provide assistance to external audit functions including preparation of audit schedules.
- Assist managers and others with account fluctuation analysis.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2 years of applicable professional experience.
