Paired is looking for an Accountant to support the financial operations, reporting, and compliance for our real estate business. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to process improvements while working closely with the team on monthly, quarterly, and annual responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Support monthly book closing and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Review quarterly and annual financial statements and highlight any issues or insights.
- Assist with quarterly investor updates and financial communications.
- Prepare budgets and help monitor spending throughout the year.
- Support tax-related tasks, including filing returns and sending annual 1099 forms to vendors.
- Manage annual insurance renewals and file insurance claims when needed.

- Strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and workflows.
- Ability to analyze current processes and suggest improvements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.

- Assist with financial due diligence and underwriting for acquisitions.
- Provide support during deal closings and transaction processes.
- Experience with Rent Manager.
- Ability to automate or streamline financial tasks and workflows.
