Prime Systems Solutions is looking for a Sr. Finance Accounting Analyst to support a client’s growing real estate business. This role is heavily accounting-focused, with exposure to FP&A and close collaboration with the Corporate Finance team. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable working with financial systems, and knows when to ask questions rather than make assumptions.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Handle journal entry processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Support portfolio management reporting related to real estate assets
- Perform quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to support business decisions
- Assist with FP&A activities (approximately 25%), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide accounting and analytical support to the Corporate Finance team
- Help develop and improve financial reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
- Use and maintain accounting systems including NetSuite and Sevdesk (Solutions Sev)
- Proactively ask questions, seek clarification, and escalate when needed rather than assuming
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in accounting and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Experience using NetSuite is required
- Comfortable working in a role that is primarily accounting-focused (75%) with FP&A exposure
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and ask questions when needed
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Sevdesk (Solutions Sev) is a plus
- Background or exposure to real estate portfolio accounting is highly preferred
