Responsibilities
- Lead monthly closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and expense distribution.
- Maintain correct transaction categorization across platforms such as QBO, Xero, and NetSuite.
- Generate accurate and meaningful financial reports for internal teams and external partners.
- Apply accounting standards—local, IFRS, or similar—with practical business context.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes and analyze cash flow to support daily operations.
- Conduct variance analysis and clearly communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Support audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors and accounting advisors.
- Address temporary financial demands, including system upgrades, investor reporting, or due diligence tasks.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and technical updates.
- Propose improvements to processes that increase efficiency, compliance, and reporting clarity.
- Contribute to developing finance systems that scale with growing business needs.
