Accordus is seeking a part-time contractor Accountant to fill a critical role within our team. You will manage essential accounting functions for a portfolio of Accordus clients, providing services across both for-profit and non-profit sectors.
What You'll Do
- Reconcile client bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
- Manage income and expenditure accounts
- Generate client financial reports using income and expenditure data
- File and remit taxes and other financial obligations
- Initiate and manage financial and accounting software
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with non-profit accounting
- CPA designation
