Accordus was looking for an Accountant

Accordus is seeking a part-time contractor Accountant to fill a critical role within our team. You will manage essential accounting functions for a portfolio of Accordus clients, providing services across both for-profit and non-profit sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Reconcile client bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  • Manage income and expenditure accounts
  • Generate client financial reports using income and expenditure data
  • File and remit taxes and other financial obligations
  • Initiate and manage financial and accounting software

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with non-profit accounting
  • CPA designation

Technical Stack

  • QuickBooks Online

Team & Environment

This is a part-time contractor role. You will report to the Director of Operations.
