Pagos is hiring an Account Manager to champion our mission of empowering businesses to take control of their payments stack. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for strategic discussions and escalations, managing and expanding key customer relationships to drive revenue growth and optimize account performance.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions and escalations.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, retention, and expansion within customer portfolios.
- Be the voice of the customer internally to identify meaningful product enhancements.
- Be the voice of Pagos externally to foster expansion opportunities within existing customer relationships.
- Champion products by educating and training customers on best practices.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, enhancements, and solutions.
- Approach customer issues with an eye for detail, innovation, and creativity to add value to each partnership.
- Proactively dig into details and collaborate across teams to best support customers.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, collaborating with Product and Engineering to ensure alignment with the payments landscape.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the payments industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the payments industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analytical mindset with the hands-on ability to analyze large data sets, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Relentless customer-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce), Google Suite, and other relevant business tools.
- Curious mindset with consistent curiosity to foster ongoing development and learning.
- Willingness and ability to travel to in-person client meetings and company events.
- Bias for action, where no task is too small.
Nice to Have
- Advanced data analysis experience using tools such as SQL.
- Deep technical understanding of payments and ecommerce infrastructure.
