As OUAI's Account Manager, Professional Distribution, you will be the primary point of contact for our professional channel partners, establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key accounts like Salon Centric. You'll be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing merchandise, and collaborating on new product launches and events to drive growth in this strategic channel.
What You'll Do
- Achieve designated retail and net sales goals.
- Manage merchandise and inventory for assigned retailers.
- Collaborate with retailers on new launches, sampling, and special events.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage shipment flow and merchandise replenishment.
- Partner with marketing and education teams to develop personalized sales-driving programs.
- Generate and analyze weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Build effective working relationships with assigned account merchants.
- Plan sampling and promotional activities with retailers.
- Analyze sales data on a regular basis.
- Assist with Go To Market planning for new product launches.
- Maintain open communication with accounts on trends, sales plans, and business performance.
- Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between marketing and accounts to ensure effective in-store execution.
- Update, review, and analyze shipment projections weekly and monthly.
- Manage retail sales replenishment and weeks of supply.
- Proactively address issues by partnering with internal teams to deliver solutions.
- Support strategic business reviews, quarterly planning, and long-term growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in sales, management, or key account management.
- At least two years of experience working with SalonCentric or similar distributors, including familiarity with their internal processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective sales and negotiation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- In-depth understanding of key clients and their position in the industry.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate sales reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
- Availability to travel throughout the geographic region as needed (approximately 20%).
