Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee assigned search accounts with your team, ensuring consistent and timely campaign optimization while identifying tactical and strategic improvements and supporting forecasting efforts.
- Oversee key client deliverables such as performance analysis and weekly reporting, and mentor junior staff in producing high-quality outputs.
- Ensure all clients follow best practices in paid search and contribute to evolving internal standards and methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and key vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for team communications.
- Possess in-depth understanding of both client and agency organizational structures to support effective collaboration.
- Develop trusted advisor status by fostering strong cross-functional client team relationships to ensure seamless plan execution.
- Apply deep knowledge of the client’s industry to inform and shape effective campaign strategies and long-term planning.
- Identify broader business challenges and raise strategic questions to help clients understand their objectives and opportunities.
- Lead by example as a motivating manager, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition to junior team members.
- Assign and oversee workloads across junior team members and GDS resources, while educating planning teams on the value and goals of paid search.
- Support recruitment initiatives for the immediate and broader team when needed.
- Participate in candidate interviews and represent the team as an ambassador during hiring processes.
- Leverage available technology to implement efficient processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend operational enhancements.
- Take accountability for resolving issues promptly and suggest preventative measures to avoid future problems.
- Help identify and develop new revenue-generating opportunities and service offerings.
