Clarivate is hiring an Account Manager for the Academic and Government product portfolio covering the Philippines region. You will be responsible for subscription retention, sales revenue growth, and account penetration by selling Clarivate products and services to universities, government bodies, and research divisions.
What You'll Do
- Achieve sales targets and activity goals.
- Devise and implement strategies to develop defined accounts and generate new sales.
- Promote and sell products to new customers via site visits, proposals, demonstrations, phone, and email.
- Maintain existing subscription revenue by managing renewal and invoicing processes.
- Collaborate with Clarivate staff to achieve annual net new and retention goals.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Contact new leads from marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and customer enquiries to maximize new business revenue.
- Conduct prospecting and market research.
- Sell in a consultative sales environment.
- Deliver exceptional client service and provide market feedback on competition, product concepts, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate contact files in Salesforce and document all sales activities.
- Maintain sales progress reports, forecasts, and sales pipeline reports.
- Develop thorough knowledge of client needs and customer workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fluent in English and Tagalog (speak & write).
- 5+ years of substantial sales and account management experience, preferably in subscription of electronic content, research intelligence databases, and workflow software solutions.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Team & Environment
You will be part of a regional segment sales team, collaborating with external sales partners (agents & distributors), sales specialists, support teams, and marketing. You will report to the Sr. Sales Director, South APAC.

This is a hybrid position based in the Philippines.
