Vanta is hiring an Account Manager, Enterprise

About the Role

Vanta seeks an Account Manager, Enterprise to own the expansion and retention of a dedicated portfolio of customers. You will act as the primary commercial contact, driving strategic relationships and executing renewals and upsells throughout the customer lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Vanta’s current product offerings and roadmap to speak confidently when addressing customers.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Customer Success Managers to understand customer health and ensure aligned communication.
  • Collaborate on account plans to identify new opportunities for expansion via new frameworks or security tools.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for expansion or renewal opportunities, from first meeting to close, negotiating and pulling in internal resources as needed.
  • Accurately forecast monthly expansion and churn, and maintain a clean Salesforce instance with strong pipeline hygiene.
  • Focus relentlessly on customer needs and provide a consultative approach in architecting solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience selling to or managing customers.
  • Strong ability to prospect and build pipeline without assistance from BDR or inbound support.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, visual) for both internal and customer-facing messaging.
  • High motivation with a sense of urgency and willingness to adjust.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of departments including Customer Success, Marketing, Enablement, and Support.
  • Employee must be based in EST or CST time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in security and compliance is not required, but highly desirable.

Work Mode

This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in EST or CST time zones. Vanta supports a distributed workforce with hubs in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, and Sydney.
