Responsibilities
- Conduct frequent customer-facing engagements such as in-person meetings, lab visits, and scientific conversations with researchers.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with principal investigators, scientists, and R&D decision-makers in academic, biotech, and pharma sectors.
- Assess client requirements and recommend tailored solutions using synthetic biology offerings.
- Manage all stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation to quoting, order tracking, and after-sales follow-up.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals assigned for the region.
- Design and implement strategic plans to grow market presence across South Korea.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide reliable revenue forecasting.
- Uncover and cultivate new business opportunities in both existing and prospective accounts.
- Track industry developments and competitive dynamics in synthetic biology and life science research.
- Share customer insights and market intelligence with internal departments.
- Assist in launching new products by aligning development with customer demands.
- Partner with field application scientists and technical support teams to address complex customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales opportunities in CRM systems.
- Represent the organization at scientific conferences, academic gatherings, and industry events.
- Contribute to local marketing initiatives such as workshops, seminars, and outreach programs.
