Oversee student transportation services across the Detroit metro area by managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering consistent client support. You'll work closely with school districts, parents, and third-party transportation providers to maintain reliable service and resolve operational issues efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day account operations, including onboarding new clients, supporting service continuity, and identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships
- Recruit, evaluate, and credential transportation providers, ensuring they meet safety, compliance, and performance standards
- Monitor field operations to uphold service quality, on-time performance, and regulatory adherence
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, service providers, and school administrators, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of concerns
- Enforce compliance with client contracts, safety protocols, and company policies, including HIPAA guidelines when handling protected health information
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate records for provider credentials, safety inspections, and operational documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data and identifying areas for process optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including school officials, contractors, and families
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to dynamic challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for reporting, scheduling, and communication
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willingness and ability to travel locally as needed
- Commitment to following safety regulations and company policies, including passing required background and drug screening

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience, with bonus potential.
