About the Role

Oversee student transportation services across the Detroit metro area by managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering consistent client support. You'll work closely with school districts, parents, and third-party transportation providers to maintain reliable service and resolve operational issues efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day account operations, including onboarding new clients, supporting service continuity, and identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships
  • Recruit, evaluate, and credential transportation providers, ensuring they meet safety, compliance, and performance standards
  • Monitor field operations to uphold service quality, on-time performance, and regulatory adherence
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, service providers, and school administrators, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of concerns
  • Enforce compliance with client contracts, safety protocols, and company policies, including HIPAA guidelines when handling protected health information
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate records for provider credentials, safety inspections, and operational documentation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data and identifying areas for process optimization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including school officials, contractors, and families
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to dynamic challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for reporting, scheduling, and communication
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willingness and ability to travel locally as needed
  • Commitment to following safety regulations and company policies, including passing required background and drug screening

This position supports a local territory and requires residency within driving distance of Detroit to ensure timely field response. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience, with bonus potential.
