RateHawk, part of the Emerging Travel Group, is hiring an Account Manager CENAM to strengthen and expand our B2B travel technology presence in the local market. In this remote role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships to drive performance and growth. You must be based in Colombia.
What You'll Do
- Expand and consolidate company presence within your assigned territory.
- Maintain and develop relationships with signed partners, including tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs, to increase their performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
- Follow up with new and existing partners to provide system training and support.
- Promote the brand within the travel trade through product presentations and networking events.
- Address and resolve incident issues to ensure partner satisfaction.
- Oversee transaction processing for accuracy in payments control.
- Spend approximately 20% of working time on business trips for client meetings and industry events.
- Conduct market and competitive environment analysis.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reporting using CRM and internal systems.
- Maximize and develop API deals with potential and existing partners.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in account management or business development within the B2B travel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the region's travel market and B2B travel networks.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- A data-driven, metrics-focused approach with strong numerical skills.
- A proactive, ambitious, and action-oriented mindset focused on results, comfortable with a fast-changing environment and a team player.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultural contexts.
- Must be legally based in Colombia.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of languages beyond English and Spanish.
- Competence in negotiating and managing API technology deals.
