Current is hiring an Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily financial tasks for designated clients
  • Examine bookkeeping records, including reconciliations of bank and credit card statements
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including bill payments and invoicing
  • Act as the main contact for clients and their representatives such as managers, attorneys, and agents
  • Review and reconcile intercompany account balances
  • Prepare and verify payroll-related reports
  • Develop commission calculation schedules
  • Support the preparation and review of 1099 tax forms
  • Provide assistance with tour accounting and related reporting when required
  • Liaise with the tax department on tax planning and compliance issues
  • Help prepare credit applications and other financial documents
  • Generate financial summaries and Excel-based schedules for clients and internal use
  • Support workflow prioritization and timely completion of deliverables
  • Keep financial records and supporting documentation well-organized

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or business management
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting platforms such as AgilLink, QuickBooks Desktop, or QuickBooks Online
  • Prior experience preparing 1099 forms
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary

  • Experience overseeing financial processes and reviewing junior staff work
