About the Role

Sonepar (Cooper Electric Supply, LLC) is hiring an Account Manager to forge lasting business relationships by pursuing opportunities and delivering first-in-class customer service. In this role, you will travel within your territory, meet with current and potential customers, and deliver exceptional services and solutions to our valued partners. As part of the larger Sonepar family, you will contribute to a crucial link in the distribution chain, connecting manufacturers to their customers in electrical power, natural gas, and broadband services.

What You'll Do

  • Travel within your sales territory to conduct consistent face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Drive revenue by developing new customer relationships and increasing business with existing clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive results.
  • Continually meet or exceed sales targets by offering company solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Monitor industry competitors and market conditions to understand customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to build, maintain, and expand brand presence.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, company products, and solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven outside sales experience (3+ years).

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Technical Stack

  • Microsoft Office applications.

Work Mode

This is a local, field-based role requiring regular travel within the assigned territory.
