About the Role
This role is responsible for driving new revenue by acquiring clients in the strength and conditioning space through strategic outreach, relationship building, and solution-based sales techniques.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collegiate and professional athletic markets
- Conduct outreach to strength and conditioning coaches and sports performance staff
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to athletic performance needs
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in sports organizations
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in CRM
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead-generation strategies
- Negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements
- Stay informed about industry trends in athletic training technology
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely manner
- Qualify leads based on organizational needs and fit
- Coordinate with customer success teams during onboarding
- Track and report weekly sales activity and pipeline metrics
- Use data to refine outreach and improve conversion rates
- Educate prospects on platform integration with existing workflows
- Address objections related to budget, timing, or implementation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings
- Support the development of case studies and reference materials
- Ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures
