WellSky was looking for an Account Executive - State Government Agencies (SaaS, Health & Human Services)

WellSky is looking for an Account Executive to join our Human & Social Services team and drive revenue growth by selling SaaS solutions to state government agencies. In this role, you will identify, nurture, and close strategic sales opportunities within the Health & Human Services sector, leading complex relationships and processes from inception to closure.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, define, and qualify new sales opportunities by engaging large-sized prospects and clients to secure high-value deals.
  • Strategize selling approaches and revenue growth plans in collaboration with business unit leadership.
  • Proactively identify market trends, industry changes, and competitor activities to pivot selling strategies.
  • Lead complex client relationships and sales processes from inception to closure, navigating multiple decision-makers.
  • Track the status and activities of all assigned accounts and prospects in Salesforce.
  • Generate periodic reports on expected closures, prospect lists, and other required information.
  • Achieve quarterly goals for lead generation, pipeline management, and quota attainment.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of identifying, nurturing, and closing complex B2G or enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Experience selling to state government agencies, preferably within Health & Human Services or adjacent sectors.
  • Ability to lead and navigate sales processes with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding quarterly sales quotas.
