Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of State and Local Government accounts
- Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities within assigned SLED territories
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand agency goals, challenges, and funding timelines
- Present tailored solutions that align with government requirements and budgets
- Navigate public sector procurement processes, including RFPs and contracts (as applicable)
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of consultative sales
- Ability to navigate long sales cycles
- Motivation to learn the nuances of the SLED market

- Industry experience in public sector or government sales
Compensation
Base salary + commissions

- Local travel to customer accounts assigned within the territory, as needed
- Compensation includes base salary + commissions, monthly car allowance, mileage reimbursement, and a one-time remote stipend
