About the Role

The role involves acquiring new clients in the Southeast by promoting a cybersecurity solution that enhances breach detection and incident response capabilities. The ideal candidate will combine consultative selling with a deep understanding of security operations to position the product effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across the Southeast region
  • Engage with security and IT decision-makers at enterprise organizations
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer security challenges
  • Present tailored demonstrations of platform capabilities
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Negotiate and close complex enterprise deals
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers during technical evaluations
  • Coordinate with marketing on regional demand generation campaigns
  • Deliver quarterly sales forecasts with accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system
  • Stay informed about evolving cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Develop territory business plans aligned with revenue goals
  • Respond to customer inquiries within service level agreements
  • Advocate for customer needs internally
  • Track competitive intelligence and market shifts
  • Follow structured sales methodologies throughout the customer journey
  • Onboard new clients post-sale in coordination with customer success
  • Maintain compliance with sales policies and procedures
  • Drive adoption through value-based selling techniques

Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
