About the Role

Celonis is seeking an Account Executive - Public Sector to join our enterprise sales team. This pivotal role is dedicated to driving growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our footprint specifically within the U.S. Public Sector. You will build market presence through targeted client acquisitions.

What You'll Do

  • Discover and cultivate new business opportunities within a designated set of accounts.
  • Establish and strengthen connections across various organizational levels, engaging with executives and decision-makers.
  • Comprehend the strategic and operational requirements of target accounts and articulate how Celonis addresses them.
  • Guide the full sales journey from prospecting and qualification to needs analysis, solution proposal, and closing deals.
  • Conduct or collaborate on comprehensive presentations and demonstrations tailored to specific use cases.
  • Forge strong partnerships with leading consulting firms, SaaS partners, and the Big4.
  • Work closely with your virtual team, including business development representatives, value engineers, partner managers, and marketing specialists.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of proven success in SaaS sales, with a focus on both new business and expansion.
  • 5 years of direct experience selling into the federal government.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Track record of selling enterprise-level software applications to C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of business processes and KPIs in areas like Finance or Supply Chain.
  • Experience collaborating with partners such as consulting firms or enterprise technology providers.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate closely with Value Engineers, Business Development Representatives, and other cross-functional teams. Success depends on seamless collaboration within a virtual team structure.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $130,000 - $153,000 USD + equity (RSUs)

This is a remote position open to candidates located in the US, with a focus on Washington DC.
